On June 5, entrusted by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the China Federation of Light Industry organized relevant experts to carry out the "Development and industrialization demonstration of non-asbestos fiber composite sealing materials" project (2015BAE02B01) of the "12th five-year Plan" national science and technology support plan "development and industrialization demonstration of non-asbestos fiber sealing and filtering composite materials" undertaken by the China Pulp and Paper Research Institute was accepted in Langfang. Experts from China Paper Association, China Friction Sealing Materials Association, Weichai Power Engine Research Institute, Tianjin University, East China University of Science and Technology and other units participated in the acceptance.

"Non-asbestos fiber composite sealing material development and industrialization demonstration" project research and development of seal products, not only 100 does not contain asbestos fibers harmful to human health, the production process also adopts green advanced continuous manufacturing technology, the use of environmentally friendly water rather than flammable and explosive organic solvents (such as the traditional rolling production process) as the production medium. Non-asbestos fiber composite sealing materials have good application prospects in domestic diesel engines, transmissions, refrigeration and air compressors, gasoline engines, carburetors, wheels and other applications.
